Lee John - Author

Lee John Fearnehough was born at home in 1967 in Sheffield, England. The second son of Ernest and Maureen Fearnehough. He grew up in Sheffield, where he went to City Comprehensive. After leaving school he worked with his family in the building industry.

In 1992 friend and script –writer James Daly, left a copy of a script ‘A Pint O’ Bitter’ for Lee to read. Years later the film was made under the new title ‘When Saturday Comes’. Fascinated by the business Leejohn’s interest in screenwriting began.

Lee left for Berlin, Germany in 1995 and completed his first ninety minute screenplay; Black Amarillo. The screenplay was sold to a small third party company.  Lee began his next project in Cape Town, South Africa. A monster screenplay entitled ‘The Caulbearer’.

In 2009 Lee became involved with charity company; Kelvin Media Productions(KMP), a company that helps disengaged children back on the road to education. In his time working with KMP, Lee decided to write a fifteen minute screenplay (Listen To Your Icon.) to help Children prosper and succeed in their school work. Lee became a trustee in 2010 and continues his work with KMP and attends monthly management meetings.

Lee is now working on a new project called; Deadline. He hopes to have the screenplay ready to submit before the end of 2011.
