I started the Caulbearer project over twelve years ago in Cape Town, South Africa. I finished the completed trilogy of screenplays, together with the storyboard for Young Tierney, just before working on my first novel with my co-writer in Berlin, Michael Martin, and his daughter, Grace Corbett.

The rotation banner consists of three mini-storyboard drawings that takes you through to the opening page of chapter one, where you see the death of Nostradamus, who has just handed over the sacred book of prophesies to the great John Tierney I.

My friends here in Sheffield have been looking forward to the release of my debut novel, The Caulbearer: Young Tierney for such a long time now, and I am glad to announce its completion. The recent success of trilogy releases such as The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo  has brought a new dimension to the world of books. Having turned down two publishing deals, I decided instead to self-publish. The literary industry is notoriously hard, and the disheartening deals offered were ones you would expect for an unpublished author. I honestly believe now is the right time, especially with the 11-11-2011 connection to the book looming.

The official book signing will  take place at the Sheffield Forum Center, Devonshire Street; 10am-6pm 12th November. Alternatively you can buy a signed copy on the 11th November over my website.

We have been negotiating with film companies in Berlin, and hope to move this project into pre production before 2013.

So please, don't miss out on buying a signed copy. The Caulbearer: Young Tierney will be of limited stock release.
